Therefore, with the help of music-loving people, this foundation was created, for which both we and others, who will be fascinated by our ideas, will be able to provide material support for the creation of new compositions and other professional music processes."

The “Pēteris Vasks Foundation” was established on May 11, 2011. Its purpose is to contribute to the national cultural heritage of Latvia and promote the development of Latvian music and art, as a part of the cultural heritage of Latvia and the world.
