Mario Brunello is the first Italian musician who won the Tchaikovsky Competition (1986), and it paved the cellist international soloist career: he played with the Philadelphia Orchestra, the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the French National Orchestra, the Orchestra of La Scala, Rome, Sat. Cecilia Academy Orchestra, “The Berlin Philharmonic” the conductor Valery Gergiev as the lead, Zubin Mehta, Riccardo Muti, seiza Odzava Daniel Gati, Myung-Whun Chung, Yuri Temirkanovs, Giuseppe Sinopoli, Carlo Maria Džulīni and Claudio Abbado, who repeatedly called Mario Brunello at Mozart Orchestra as a cellist and as a conductor.
